DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 4th annual golf tournament on Saturday\, October 5th at 8:00am to be held again at the Watters Creek golf course in Plano\, Texas.  This will be our 4th tournament and we hope to see you there.\n\nhttps://birdease.com/2024changingchildrenslives\n\nSHOTGUN START – BEST BALL (SCRAMBLE)  – Breakfast and BBQ lunch provided\n \nREGISTER BY FRIDAY\, SEPTEMBER 20th AND RECEIVE 5 RAFFLE TICKETS ($20 VALUE) \n\nQuestions?  Reach out to event coordinator:  Marty Walker 214-762-6481\nJoin us for a day of golf at The Courses at Watters Creek golf course\, where you can also make a great impact on the lives of underserved school children in Jamaica.  This marks our fourth annual golf tournament fundraiser\, featuring exciting opportunities for awards\, raffles\, and silent auction items\, as we have had in our previous tournaments.  Be sure to reserve your spot early to take advantage of our special offer regarding signing up early. \nPrizes for 1st and 2nd place teams for Men’s\, Women’s and Mixed teams. \nAdditional prizes include: \n\n$25\,000 cash Hole-In-One prize\nLongest Drive (both men and women)\nClosest to the Hole (both men and women)\n\nAdditional challenges to be announced \nWe will also be hosting a nonperishable food drive the week prior to the golf tournament\, which will benefit Minnie’s Food Pantry\, a Plano based nonprofit helping people in need in the North Texas area. \nSince our inaugural golf tournament in 2021\, with your support\, Jamaica YES has: \n\nIncreased the number of schools funded for breakfast programs from 11 to 15 Basic and Primary schools (Pre-K and Elementary).\nFunding the number of meals from 3\,220 to 4\,345 per WEEK\nSchools located in 6 parishes across Jamaica\, an increase from 5\n\nWith the 2024 golf tournament\, our goal is to raise enough funds to be able to increase the number of meals funded to 5\,000 meals per WEEK for the underserved school children in Jamaica and other much needed assistance for the children.  Join us in making this a reality and providing opportunities to a brighter future. \nFor Minnie’s Food Pantry\, a Plano\, Texas based nonprofit\, the tournament related food drives between 2021 and 2023\, Jamaica YES delivered over 2\,400 pounds of food for the less fortunate in the Dallas area.
