LOCAL COMMUNITY SERVICE:

Domestic community service plays an important role in our commitment to help those in need at home. On a regular and recurring basis:

• We have assisted in preparing meals for underserved school children in West Dallas through Hunger Busters, a Dallas nonprofit
• Helped make meals for the homeless in the city of Allen, Texas through the nonprofit Feed the City
• Volunteered for the Frisco Family Services annual golf tournament benefiting families in need in Frisco, Texas
• Conducted several food drives for Minnie’s Food Pantry collecting nonperishable food for food insecure families in North Texas.
• There is also 1 mile of highway we have adopted collecting litter through the “Keep Allen Beautiful” program for  which we have been awarded “Adopted by Jamaica YES” signs along the parkway.

If you are Interested in any of these activities, you can volunteer by becoming part of the Jamaica YES team and join us in any of these activities.  The more people, the larger the impact.
